Amber- I'm thinking I wanna try a new approach. Although I've had a weight lost of 3.4lbs in 1.5 weeks on Herbal Life I'm thinking it isn't the right plan.
Here's my reasons:
1. Easy to "cheat"
2. Haven't eliminated the "bad foods" from my diet
3. Expensive
4. End up snacking or making bad choices on my 1 meal
5. Too much milk, feel bloated
6. Causing some constipation
7. Weight lost seems slow with what little bit of food I do eat
8. Feel sluggish, unmotivated, discouraged
I'm considering trying the South Brach diet. Although, it would be nearly impossible with the life style Jon and I live, I think I want to try. I know it will be an extreme challenge to do it "alone" at home knowing Jon is eating things I can't have, but I want faster results for the bulk at the beginning of this weight loss journey.
I know that sounds selfish and like a terrible reason, but I'm tired of looking at the scale and seeing minimal results.
Tonight is my last night of soda pop. I'm choosing to take it out of my diet. That's my first challenge. Although it is a staple in working graves I'm tired of "needing it".
I'm going to do some more research on what plan might be best for me, but I am leaning towards South Beach even if it is just for the first phase to get some bulk off. Tired of that damn 200+ number. It's time to let it go!
These girls are the reason I'm willing to try anything. I'm ready to be a healthier, fit, energetic Mom forever!!!

So the South Beach diet is not a hard one to do if you are busy or working. A lot of it is just being prepared. I would suggest to have lots of prepackaged salads, have almonds (many flavors as long as they are low in sugar), also have reduced fat string cheese on hand. Drink tons of water.Make sure you change up your eggs for breakfast or they will get old real fast. I would do crepes one day (I have a recipe for them) and then omelets, and then fried, then scrambled. We always had our big meat stuff in the evening. Try different things you will never know what you like or don't like unless you try it. As for Jon not doing it with you...he can still do the protein shakes and you your do a healthy SBD dinner. My kids actually ate the same things as us I just added in a carb or potatoes for dinner since we can't have those the first 2 weeks. Call me if you want to talk more about it.
